Back and Forth

This work touches on the complexities of relationships, whether they be with family, friends, or strangers. The ethereal state of the video is meant to represent purity and coming of age as I try to unpack the stress of a perfect relationship with my father, which often haunted me in my dreams. The narration comes from a poem I wrote, and the humming at the end comes from a lullaby called "A La Nanita Nana" that my mother used to sing to me. One of the barriers I encountered as I independently produced this film was where and how to showcase it.
